It is with deep sadness that the family of Ellen Ing (nee Chow), announce her sudden passing on Sunday January 13th, 2019. Our mom was a sweet, gentle, kind hearted lady who will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her. The love that we shared resulted in many years of family gatherings, laughter, and most importantly an abundance of delicious food. Ellen is survived by her five children Roberta, Ted (Elaine), Gerald, Barry (Van), Nova (James); her grandchildren Richard, Randy, Donna, Jordan, Trenton, Brett, and Maria; her great grandchildren Caitlin, Jaden, Lindsay, Kendal; her brother Joaquin (Lily), and many loving nieces, nephews, and relatives. She is predeceased by her husband Stanley Ing, May 1990.
The family would like to thank the staff of Swan Evergreen Village for their exemplary care of Ellen.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at a visitation held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Sunday, January 20, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life which will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL on Monday January 21, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Ellen will be interred at Queen’s Park Cemetery next to her husband Stanley.
