Eileen Wiseman, formerly of Hanover, passed away peacefully at Brucelea Haven, Walkerton on Monday, January 7, 2019. She was 89.
Born on June 17, 1929 to the late Edward Henry and Anna Louisa (nee Steinhagen) Lerch. Eileen was employed with Saugeen Villa Nursing Home in Hanover. She was a faithful member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Normanby.
Survived by sons Dennis (Carol) Wiseman of Owen Sound and David (Krista) Wiseman of Hanover. Loved grandmother of Ryan (Cassie), Germain (Rebecca), Ashley, Kyler and great grandchildren Eban, Alba and Marlie. Loved by her brothers Harvey (Lynne) Lerch of Hanover, Alfred (Norma) Lerch of West Grey, sister Doreen Lantz of Mildmay and sister in law of Eleanor Lerch of Neustadt. Fondly remembered by her late husband Conrad’s side of the family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Conrad, sister Gladys (Martin) Singbiel, Florence (Elmer) Leifso, Audrey (Harold) Hill, brothers Bert Lerch, Wilmer Lerch, Harold in infancy and a brother in law George Lantz.
A Memorial Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover at 11:00 am. Pastor Lyndsay McGregor officiating. Inurnment in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Normanby Township in the Spring.
