It is with profound sadness that we share the untimely and sudden
passing of Deborah “Just Deb” Calviello (56) of New
Glasgow, PE. Deb passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at the Queen
Elizabeth Hospital. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and
staff at QEH for all of their efforts and of course to R & J, who
surrounded her with love until I could get there. Beloved wife of
Elaine Rosenfeld, mom to Jersey and little Nutmeg, niece of Sister
Theresa Calviello, daughter-in-law of Anita (Carl, deceased)
Rosenfeld, “Aunt Deb” to Vincent, Nicholas, Michael and
Michelle, the fun cousin and a treasured friend to so many.
Deb and her partner immigrated to Canada and called PEI home almost 10
years ago. The beauty of the Island extended to the beauty of the
people here and amazing friendships have grown over the years. The
love and support shown during this devastating time is overwhelming.
In the short time here, Deb touched so many lives with her humor,
honesty, dedication to helping other and finding ways to show she was
worthy of the blessings she had. In her most recent role as Executive
Director of the Community Business Development Corporation (CBDC) of
Central PEI, she was so excited to be able to help others achieve
their dreams as she had achieved hers.
Resting at the Belvedere Funeral Home for visitation Tuesday 4-7pm and
funeral Wednesday at 10am. The family requests no flowers, rather
memorial donations may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital
Foundation or the Prince County Hospital Foundation as a way to pay
forward the kindness, caring and compassion Deb always showed for
those around her. She touched the lives of so many and there are no
adequate words to describe our heartbreak and loss.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Deborah Calviello 19632019..
