With heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Gordon Gaunt on January 7, 2019 at 60 years of age. Dearest husband of Sue (nee Nicholson). Loving father of Jennifer (Anthony), Matthew (Courtney), and Meagan (Alex). Adored Papa of Braiden, Garrett, Alaina, Ethan, Jake, Oliver, Merai, Carson, and Finn. Survived by his father Robert (Audrey), sister Ann (Jim) Bracken, brothers Chris (Maureen) Gaunt, Robert (Charlene) Gaunt. Predeceased by mother Marie Gaunt and sister Jennifer Ross. Brother-in-law of Jim and Kathy Nicholson, Tim and Gail Nicholson, Lynn and Randy McLean, David and Felice Nicholson, Patti and Kevin Hawkins, Laurie and Brad Pajot. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Dave retired as an Electrician with Chrysler Canada. He was an avid fisherman and storyteller to his grandchildren. As your expression of sympathy, Dave’s family would appreciate a good deed to someone in need “Pay it Forward” .
Memorial Visitation will take place on Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Celebration of Dave’s life at 12:30 p.m. at Families First 585 Sandwich Street S, Amherstburg, 519-969-5841.
