Dale Edward Johnston
1964-2019
It is with heavy hearts we share the news of Dale Edward
Johnston’s passing at Hospice House in Fredericton this past
Sunday, January 6, at the age of 54.
The first 40 years of Dale’s life were spent in the
loving care of Thelma Campbell and her family in French
Lake.
In 2007 Dale moved in with Lorie Mitchell and her two
children, Erik and Cassie, and since then has become a well-loved
member of her entire family. Dale enjoyed vacations, special events
and just spending time with everyone. Throughout this time Dale also
shared quality time with Thelma’s granddaughter Stacey, her
husband Darren and their two children Karleigh and
Keegan.
Dale was also a valued member of his community, taking part
and volunteering alongside Lorie at various events. Most of Oromocto
and surrounding area knew Dale for his outgoing personality and his
ability to welcome any and everyone.
His bright and loving light will be missed.
Visitation for Dale will be held on Saturday, January 12,
2019 at Oromocto Funeral Home from 10 am -12 pm & 2 pm
– 4 pm for all who knew and loved him.
Donations are requested to be made to the Oromocto Training
and Employment Centre or the Fredericton Hospice House in Dale
Johnston’s memory.
