Obituary of Corrie Stil
Peacefully surrounded by the love of her family, at the Chapman House Hospice in Owen Sound, on Sunday morning, January 20th, 2019. Cornelia Magrita Stil (nee Bÿleveld of Owen Sound, at the age of 87 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Hendrik Stil. Loving mother of Margaret Hilsden, of Owen Sound, Adriana Bye, of Collingwood, John Stil (Ruth), of Chatsworth and Wanda Van Gorder, of Owen Sound. Proud grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Reta Traeger, of Burlington and Leni and Manja (Co), both of Holland. Corrie will be sadly missed by her family in Holland. Predeceased by her parents, Cornelius and Maria Bÿleveld; her daughter, Cora Gamble; her sons-in-law, Larry Bye, Dewane Van Gorder and Glenn Gamble; her grandson, Michael Stil; her brother-in-law, A.J. Traeger.
Friends may call at the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Wednesday evening from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and one hour prior to service. A Funeral Service for Corrie Stil will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, January 24th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Kathy Underwood officiating. Spring interment in Keward Cemetery, Chatsworth. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Chapman House Hospice as an expression of sympathy.
