Passed peacefully in Nanaimo hospital in the presence of loved ones.
Born in Quebec, the 5th son of 7 children born to and pre-deceased by Dorothy and Vic Dumont, also pre-deceased by brothers Bryan and Peter.
Survived by siblings Gerry, Tim, Steve, Tina and Sue and numerous other family members. Robin leaves behind his beloved son Christopher…and step daughters Vicky and Chantal as well as grandchildren Devon, Azalia, Taylor and Emma. With special mention to Brooks and Jacie and Jaxon. He also leaves behind his fur family…Moto, Junior and Zee.
Robin loved many others too, it’s likely if you knew him you had a special place in his heart.
Robin will be remembered for his love of hockey, baseball and boxing. He was most at home in the wilderness but could often be sighted at the local coffee joint. He loved to preach about how to solve the problems of the world and despite his sometimes boisterous disposition, he had a gentleness of spirit and wealth of compassion. He will be dearly missed. He left each of us with special memories…
