Charles “Chucky” Markell
Suddenly at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, Chucky Markell of Williamsburg, age 65. Loving husband of Carole Markell (nee Fournier) for 45 ½ years. Loving father of Ed (Amanda) of Morrisburg, Lisa McNalty (Joey) of Glen Becker and Samantha Markell of Winchester. Survived by his brother Ivan (Linda) of Ingleside and his step-brother Victor of Iroquois. Chucky will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Ashley (Alain), Steffany “Dereck”, Darryl, Gage and his great-grandchildren Laila, Makenna and Josephine. Predeceased by his grandson Jacob, his parents Corbett and Leona Markell, his sisters Helen Markell and Dorothy Merkley and his brothers Stewart and Paul. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
Friends may call at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home, Williamsburg, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow. Donations to the South Dundas Animal Shelter or Rocky Road Rescue would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
