Carole Katherine Flatt

Carole Katherine Flatt, 72, Lower Sackville, passed away Thursday January 3, 2019 at the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax. Born in Benito, Manitoba, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Katherine (Kiwaluk) Osachuk. Carole worked at Kmart in Lower Sackville for Kmart’s duration in Nova Scotia.
She was an adherent of The Salvation Army Church in Lower Sackville.
She is survived by her daughter Kimberley (Jim) Langille, Lower Sackville, NS, sons Gregory (Tammy) Flatt, Mt. Uniacke, NS and Jason (Dawnica) Flatt, Kamloops, B.C., grandchildren Jessica, Amy, Kathleen, Autumn, Tyler, Rowan and Brooklyn. She is also survived by several siblings, living across Canada, whom she remained close with and adored her.
She is predeceased by her husband of 36 years, Eldon George Flatt. Mom was an avid curler for many years, wonderful gardener, professional shopper and skilled crafter. Mom was the biggest cheerleader for all of us, always making us feel loved and completely supported no matter how big or small the events happening in our lives were. She was a boastful Grandma who loved her family with all of her heart.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Salvation Army, Sackville Corps. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday January 8th at 11am at The Salvation Army Church, 51 Metropolitan Avenue, Lower Sackville. Burial will follow in Oakridge Cemetery.
