Life Legacy
CAPOTOSTO, Carmella Celia (1922-2019) – Peacefully at God’s appointed time on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Woodlands of Sunset with her family at her side, God called home his child Carmella (Ceil) in her 97th year. She was an avid gardener who enjoyed maintaining the grounds around her home, a home she was extremely proud of for close to 60 years. She worked for many years at Nabisco in Niagara Falls, NY. Ceil was an extraordinary lady whose life was one of caring, giving and helping others. She could be characterized by her quick and inventive verbal humour which people admired. Ceil loved her time with her family whether it was at home or in her many travels. Whether it was frequent short journeys around Ontario and New York State or long driving trips to Florida and the Carolinas, it was all to spend time with family members who were so important to her. She is predeceased by her mother Amelia, her father Pasquale, her sisters Flora, Edith, Adele, Hilda and her brothers Angelo, Samuel and Joseph. Ceil will be so deeply missed by her many nieces and nephews of three generations and all her friends and acquaintances who loved her so dearly. The family would like to thank all the staff of Woodlands of Sunset for their care of our aunt during the past three years. It was a blessing to her family to know that she was well cared for. Family will receive friends and acquaintances at PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, Ontario on Monday January 7, 2019 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A Celebration of Ceil’s Life will be held at Niagara Worship Centre, 6846 Frederica Street, Niagara Falls, Ontario on January 8, 2019 at 1 pm followed by a light lunch.
