Barbara G. Kinney
1934-2019
The death of Barbara Gladys Kinney of Holmesville occurred on Sunday,
January 6, 2019 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital, Perth Andover, NB. Born
September 17, 1934 in Maplehurst she was the daughter of the late
Myles and Bessie (McGray) Hawthorne. She was also predeceased by her
son, James and 7 brothers and sisters.
Barb is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Emery; 5 children,
Leonald Kinney (Kimberly), Beverly Giberson (Terry), Kendall Kinney,
Tamera Weeks (Michael) and Angela Polchies; 19 grandchildren; 25 great
grandchildren; 2 siblings, Donald Hawthorne (Geraldine) and Wanda
Arbeau as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207
Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 3-8
pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at
1:00 pm from the Holmesville Free Will Baptist Church. Rev. Carl
DeMerchant will officiate. The interment will be the Mineral Cemetery
at a later date. Donations made to the New Brunswick Lung Association
