Sandy is remembered as a good father and husband to Sandra. He worked for many years as a senior manager at the Flakeboard (now Arauco) Company in St. Stephen, N.B.
During his working life he was both liked and respected by co-workers for his positive attitude, precision planning and the results achieved in day to day operations and on major expansion or upgrading projects.
He was a lover of animals, both wild and domestic, and a jack of all trades. He enjoyed working with his hands, whether building houses or working on carpentry projects in his shop.
In keeping with Sandy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. A family remembrance is planned for a later date.
The family wishes to thank the Doctor, nurses and staff of Passamaquoddy Lodge for their kindness and care, as well as Doctor Campbell, Saint John Regional Hospital.
For those who wish, remembrances to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick, the Charlotte County SPCA or the Charlotte County Cancer Society would be appreciated.
