William (Budd) Walker
December 23, 1937 – June 17, 2018
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late William Budd Walker announces his passing at his residence in Port aux Basques, NL on Sunday, June 17th, 2018 at the age of 80 years. Born in Lindsay, Ont, Budd was the son of the late William and Violet Walker (nee Demoe). He was also predeceased by his wife Madge (nee Young); son Allan Walker; brothers Wayne Walker, Gary Walker, Ken (Shirley) Walker; sons-in-law John Addison, Wayne Harvey; and brother-in-law Ronnie Walker.
He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his special granddaughter and caregiver of whom Budd resided with, Jenna Harvey and his companion dog Little Joe; children Sherri (Wayne) Crosmaz, Michael (Cheryl) Walker, Kathy (Brian) Hickson, all of Lindsay, Ont, Carol Addison of Janetville, Ont, Daniel Walker of Stoney Creek, Ont, Paula (Donnie) Coleman of Port aux Basques, NL, Susan Walker of Kirkfield, Ont, Charles Walker of Lindsay, Ont, Georgie (Derek) LeRiche of Port aux Basques, NL, Bob McWhirter of Middle Sackville, NS; twenty-three (23) grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters Alda Walker, Jean Grof, Gale (Ann) Walker, Bonnie (Pat) O’Neil, Roy (Sharon) Walker, Heather (Tom) Mcgriskin, Dean (Cynthia) Walker all of Lindsay, Ont, Karen (Brian) Lewis of Elkford, BC plus a large extended family of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Budd’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 19th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home Inc. in Port aux Basques, NL from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 20th at 3 pm officiated by Dorothy Bragg with interment to follow at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Barachois Hill. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Budd’s memory can be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
