RADBOURNE – Victor George
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved father, Victor George RADBOURNE, age 89 at Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound, on Friday morning, December 21st, 2018. Predeceased by his wife of 66 years Ida Radbourne (nee King). Deeply mourned by his sons, Blaine (Kazia Milian) and Brent (Suzanne Ste. Croix). Dear brother of Bruce and Gerald (Mary), both of Owen Sound. Predeceased by his parents, Earl and Gertrude Radbourne; his siblings, Leonard ,Dorothy, Hazel and Harry. Vic began a successful career in car sales at Toms’ Garage in the 1950’s, a career that spanned over 50 years including 26 years running his own business. Vic’s success in business and friendship was primarily because he intrinsically understood the importance of reputation and relationships in his dealings with all people. Vic’s many friends in Owen Sound and beyond will attest to his gregarious and genuine personality.
Friends are invited to join the family to tell stories and share their memories at a Memorial Reception at the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on January 6, 2019 from 2:00p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A private graveside service for Victor George Radbourne will be held in the spring at Hillcrest Cemetery, Tara. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce or the Owen Sound Regional Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice as an expression of sympathy.
