It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tom, known by his friends as Timber Tom, at Algoma Manor, Thessalon on Saturday, November 10, 2018 in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Inez ( Campbell, Hoath ) for 45 years. Dearly loved father of Karen Ritchie ( Val ) of Uxbridge, much appreciated and respected step-father of Robin Hoath of Hanmer, Rick Hoath ( Bonnie ) of Calgary and Rhonda Stockill ( Ken ) of South Porcupine. Loved Grandpa to Lauren and Owen Ritchie of Uxbridge, Miranda Stockill of South Porcupine, Joshua Stockill ( Sarah ) of North Bay and Grandpa Tom to Sean Hoath of the U.K. and Lindsay Hoath of Calgary. Son of the late Stan and Marna Robinson and son-in-law of the late Elmer and Grace Campbell. Dear brother to Bob ( Joann ) of Sault Ste. Marie and Dan ( Alice and the late Debbie ) of Bruce Station. Big brother to Janet Kay ( Rick ) of Thessalon and the late John Robinson. Brother-in-law of Raymond Campbell ( late Anne ) of Haliburton and Marion Campbell ( late Colin ) of Lindsay, Ontario. Tom was a much loved uncle and a great uncle. Thanks to Algoma Manor Nursing Home in Thessalon for their care. Tom was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 182 of Thessalon and a long time member of Zion United Church. Friends may call at the Beggs Funeral Home Thessalon on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 11am until time of service in the chapel at 1pm with The Reverend Erasmus Madimbu officiating. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery. Donations to Zion United Church or the Parkinsons Society would be appreciated by the family.
