TEKATCH, Terrance Steven –
Passed away peacefully with family by his side, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the age of 69. Loving and cherished husband of Ann (nee Yotingco) for 41 years. Devoted father of Rachelle Rush (Rob) and Tyler Tekatch (Julie Zimmerman). Proud grandfather of Clara and Julia Rush, and the late Lily Zimmerman-Tekatch. They will greatly miss their “GaPa”. Dear brother of the late Sharon Arnold (Michael). Predeceased by his parents Steve and Helen Tekatch. Terrance will also be sadly missed by extended family, and numerous friends and colleagues. Terrance was a true family man who enjoyed time spent together with those he loved most. He was also passionate about people and loved being social with just about anyone. Visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333, on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. Private Interment will be held at a later date for immediate family at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Burlington. If desired, as an expression of sympathy, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
