SHARP, Stephen (Steve)
At Winston Park Nursing Home on Monday January 8th, 2018, in his 82nd year.
Steve has finally been reunited with the love of his life, Audrey (Smith), and his parents, Valentine and Phyllis (Hughes).
He leaves as his legacy 4 beautiful children; Laurie, Judy, Rick and Jamie. From this Steve and his lovely wife Audrey of 53 years were blessed with 10 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
Steve leaves behind many family and friends who cherished his sense of humour, smile and quick wit.
Steve was very interested in music growing up in Toronto, pursuing a small side career with a male quartet in the 1950’s. He was good friends with all four members of the original singing group the Diamonds and continued his love for a number of years as a member with the Invictones all male singing group in Toronto in the 1980’s.
Steve enjoyed his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren with the sparkle in the young kids eyes bringing a smile to his face. He also enjoyed the conversations with the Nursing staff who made him feel welcome at the Winston Park Nursing Home in Kitchener. Steve was also a resident for over 16 years of Morningside Community in New Hamburg being actively involved in several activities including providing music for many Community dances.
Cremation has taken place and memorial service to be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Memory Gardens Funeral Home 2723 Victoria St. N. Breslau 519 904 0400.
Family of Steve would like to thank the Winston Park staff for all they did for him and wish the best for all staff.
