Obituary for
Sophie Werbitski
On May 14, 2018, our angel, Sophie Werbitski joined our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ at the age of 96 years.
Sophie will always be remembered by her daughter, Elsie (Bob) Christie; son, Michael (Judy) Werbitski; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; ten step-great-grandchildren; three step-great-great-grandchildren and siblings, Mary, Mike (Elizabeth), Betty, Janet (Percy) and Anne. Predeceased by her husband, Mike; daughter, Lillian; son-in-law, Mike; siblings, Peter, Paul, Bill and Olga.
Divine Liturgy Tuesday, May 22 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 9507 Austin O’Brien Road, Edmonton, AB. Reverend Julian Bilyij officiating with interment at St. Michael’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church Capital Reserve Fund or the Dr. Gerald Zetter Care Center, 9649 – 71 Avenue, Edmonton, T6E 5J2 to whom the family will forever be grateful.
