Obituary of Sonya Gall
Gall, Sonya Margaret – of Charing Cross, on July 17th, 2018 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance in her 79th year. Survived by her best friend and husband of 54 years, Jim Gall. Survived also by her two sons Thom of Windsor, J.D. of Windsor, one-step son Steven of London, five daughters Robin (Jim) Burns of Dresden, Candy (Al) McGuigan of Blenheim, Leitha (Aug) Polowick of Blenheim, Martha Dickson (Scott Barnes) of Chatham, and Trisha Szekely of LaSalle. Will be missed by her fifteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Sister of Gene Autry of London.
Predeceased by her parents John and Lucie (nee Bishop) Autry, brothers John and Kevin, also predeceased by an infant daughter Barbara.
Sonya worked as a personal support worker for the Red Cross. She could often be found reading, gardening and spending time with her family.
Cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service at the Pardoville Union Cemetery will be held.
Donations in memory of Sonya may be made to Pulmonary Hypertension Association of Canada.
