Forever In Our Hearts
Sandra Rose Babish, late of Regina, SK, passed away at home on Monday, September 3, 2018 at the age of 92 years.
She was a resident at Broadway Terrace for the past seven years.
Sandra was born on August 15, 1926 and grew up on a farm near Blaine Lake, SK.
She met her husband Andrew Babish at his photography studio when she brought in films to be developed, and their relationship grew and lasted for 61 years.
Sandra and Andrew worked together to build campers for which she did the finishing work of decorating and sewing. They enjoyed camping and travelling through North America, Europe, New Zealand and Australia.
She considered church and prayer to be an important part of her life. Sandra will be missed and remembered by her son Gregg (Margaret); grandson Brian (Dani); great-granddaughters Emmeline and Elodie; nieces and nephew Jean, Lillian, Ed and their families; as well as her extended family and many friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Andrew in 2010; parents John and Apolonia; brother Mike; sister Anne; grandson Craig; niece Jennie; and nephew Richard.
A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday, September 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.
Memorial donations in memory of Sandra may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
