Ruby Gladys MacPherson
Ruby G.
MacPherson, a long time resident of Riverview, passed away peacefully
at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, September 19,
2018.
Born in
Black Point, she was the daughter of the late Johnston and Florence
(Cox) Dickie.
Ruby was
retired from the Accounts Receivable Department at Betty Rubin
following many years service. She was a member of St. Paul’s
United Church, Riverview and the UCW within the Church. Ruby enjoyed
baking, gardening and tending to her
family.
Ruby will be
sadly missed by her son, Bruce MacPherson of Riverview and daughter,
Robyn MacPherson (Leslie Phillips) of Canning, NS; grandchildren,
Ashley DeLong (Gregg), Sarah Sprott (Nick), Cody Arsenault (Shelby)
and Brandon Arsenault; great grandchildren, Ally, Landon and Ryker
Arsenault, Cameron, Avery and Cohen Sprott, as well as several
extended family members.
In addition
to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ralph MacPherson
(June 2004); sisters, Marion Ward and Helen Mair and brothers,
Wallace, Lloyd, Kenneth and Arthur
Dickie.
A Service to
celebrate and honour Ruby’s life will be held at St.
Paul’s United Church, 404 Cleveland Ave., Riverview on
Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 2:30 pm with Rev. Steve Berube
officiating. Reception in the Church Hall following the
service.
Arrangements
under the professional care of Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain
Road, Moncton (858-1995).
