The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury, Sunday, November 18, 2018 at the age of 82 years. Wife of the late Paul Hétu and the late Roger Desjardins. Daughter of the late Paul-Emile and the late Berthe (née Godfroy) Benoit. Loving mother of Ginette Hétu-Julien (Yvon), Gérald Hétu (Aline), Marcel Hétu (Valerie), Fernand Hétu (Devina), Jean Hétu, Pierre Hétu (Beth) and Mary Ann Desjardins-Campbell (Wayne). Predeceased by her daughter Suzanne Hétu. Dear sister of Gertrude Gadoury, , Claude Benoit, Claudette Boston, Diane Landry, Georgette Gaudry, Micheline Higgins, Léo Benoit, Madeleine St-Louis and Suzanne Slade. Predeceased by her brothers Jacques and Donald and her sister Bertha Gélinas. Cherished grandmother of Donna, Nancy, Chantal, Fiona, Bryan, Alain, Amanda, Joël, Danielle, Marc, Caitlin and Cassandra. Predeceased by her grandson Johnathan. Great-grandmother of Meghan, Jessica, Michael, Jenna, Carley, Miguel, Zoé, Abbie, Caleb, Jacob, Cadence, Anna-Lea, Ashton, Jaxon, Grace, Riley, Lise-Ann, Zakk and great-great-grandmother of Paige, Eligh, Dominic, Faith and Oliver. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 RR 15, Chelmsford, Thursday, November 22, 2018 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. and Friday after 12 noon.
