Peacefully passed away at Joseph Brant Hospital on December 10, 2018 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Anna (nee Bashista). Loving father of Dave and Marty. Dear grandfather of Ashley. Predeceased by his parents Mary and Joseph DeBono, parents-in-law Jacob and Susanna Bashista, sister Mary, brothers Mario and John, and by his brother-in-law Toby Bashista. Ron is survived in Australia by his sisters Tessie and Iris, brothers Fred, Charlie and their families. Also survived by his loving sister-in-law Rose Bashista, nephew Rick, niece Brenda Almas and their families. He will be greatly missed by his extended family of Mike and Marlene Zelinski, their children Steven, Jason and their families. Ron will really miss his winter vacations in Lauderdale By The Sea, Florida. As per Ron’s wishes no service will be held, cremation has taken place. In honour of Ron, a donation to a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
