It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Ronald Mary McIsaac announces his passing on January 10th, 2017 in his 83rd year at his residence in South Branch, NL. Born in South Branch, NL, Ronald was the son of the late Archibald and Kathleen (O’Quinn) MacIsaac, fathers-in-law James MacNeil and Gerald Cormier, first wife Mary, brothers Angus MacIsaac, Jim MacIsaac and Dan MacIsaac, sisters Annie Clark and Lucy Lavers, step sons Errol Osmond and Kevin Osmond, step son-in-law Kevin Putt, and brothers-in-law John Mclean, Roderick MacDonald and sister-in-law Sharron McDonald. Ronald leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife Florence of 28 years, sons Kevin (Lori) McIsaac and Danny McIsaac, daughter Sandra (Ernie) St. Laurent of Edmonton, AB, grandchildren Anthony and Travis, brother Archibald (Bridget) MacIsaac, sister Florence (Allan) Lobel of California, USA, Mary (Ted) Aucoin, and Cecilia (Pius) Gale all of South Branch, NL, mother-in-law Elizabeth MacNeil of Port aux Basques, NL, step-children Theresa (Bill) Butler, Llewellyn (Veronica) Osmond, Veronica Putt, Wade (Michelle) Osmond, Jackie (Mitch) Davenport, Adam (Claudia) Osmond, 25 step grandchildren and great grandchildren, brothers-in-law Gerry (Helen) Cormier of Sydney, NS, Martin (Violet) Cormier of Port aux Basques, NL, sisters-in-law Felix (Anne) Anderson of Sydney, NS, Dorothy Mclean of Reserve Mines, NS, Carmel Cormier of Glace Bay, NS, and Veronica (Tom) Roberts of Port aux Basques, NL, along with many nephews, nieces and a lot of close friends. In keeping with Ronald’s wishes, cremation will be taking place. Visitation will take place on Monday, January 15th at 7:30 pm at the St. Sylvester’s Roman Catholic church in South Branch, NL where mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, January 16th at 9:30am from the St. Sylvester’s Roman Catholic church officiated by Father Lee Lainey with internment to follow at St. Sylvester’s Roman Catholic cemetery. Flowers are graciously accepted and donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
