Obituary for Robert Thomas Stevens
In loving memory of Robert (Bob) Thomas Stevens who passed away suddenly at his home on December 17 at the age of 66.
He was the son of Robert Guy and Joan Evelyn Stevens (pre-deceased). Bob is survived by his two sisters, Joanne (Harold Fraser) and Lynn Marie Stevens and by his brother Christopher Stevens. He also leaves behind five nieces and nephews, Kristin (Chris Goveia), Lindsay Ellott (Richard), Eric Cron (Lindsay), Rebecca Cron and Marc Moncion (Kayla) and by five great nephews, Cooper and Lincoln Ellott, Logan Cowan, and William and Jack Cron. He was predeceased by his niece Carmen Moncion in 2008. Bob is fondly remembered by his aunt, Teresa Bouchard and by his former spouse of 37 years, Kathy McCarthy.
Bob worked most of his adult life in the field of marketing, owning several businesses over the years. He was a very talented man, brilliant and creative. He was known for his witty sense of humour and his love of dogs, especially basset hounds.
As per Bob’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service at this time.
A celebration of his life will be held in the spring.
The family requests that donations in his honour be made to Maison McCulloch Hospice.
