The family of Robert (Bob)
Arthur Chesterton of Charters Settlement, NB are sad to announce his
passing on Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers
Regional Hospital, Fredericton. Bob was 84. Born in Port Hope, ON, he
was a son of the late Percy L. and Ethel (Curtis)
Chesterton.
Bob was a veteran of the
Korean War, having served overseas with the RCHA. Bob proudly served
in the Canadian Armed Forces for 28 years. He was an active and proud
member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No.4,
Fredericton.
Bob is survived by the true
love of his life, Naomi (Bovin) Chesterton, his loving and devoted
wife of 63 years. He loved and was loved by his two children, Vicky
Crilley (Gary) and Rob Chesterton (Ute) both of Charters Settlement,
NB. His 3 grandchildren, Gary, Darcy and Candy as well as his 4
great-grandchildren, Brody, Curtis, Emily and Danika always held a
special place in his heart. He loved them all dearly! Bob also leaves
behind brothers, Bud (Shirley) of Colburg, ON and Charlie (Alberta) of
Trenton, ON; nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law, Muriel Thisdelle
(late Emile) of Sarnia, ON.
Aside from his parents, Bob
was predeceased by an infant son, David: a sister Dolly Ferguson and
brothers John (late Doris) and
Walter.
At the request of the family,
there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will take
place at a later date in
Ontario.

remember Bob by way of a memorial contribution, the family suggests
donating to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of
NB.
