It is with great sadness the family of Raymond Sidney Mills announces his passing on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at the age of 83 years. Raymond will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years Caroline and his children Rae-Lynne, Kelly (Doug), Colin (Leila), Darren (Joanna) and Gavin (Julie). Raymond will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Jack Mills, Ian Mills and Alison Harrod. Raymond was predeceased by his son Marshall Mills (5yrs) and his parents Miriam and John Mills. Raymond was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. He was a successful businessman for over 60 years. For 20 years he owned and operated his bus lines at the Tsuu T’ina, Stoney and Siksika Nations, this business Raymond enjoyed the most. He treasured his memories and relationships with all his employees, members of the communities and the students he ensured got to school on the busses. He was passionate about family, sports, history and current events. Admired for his kindness, compassion, quick wit, sense of humor and great story telling. Join us for Conversation and Coffee at the Brentwood Sportsplex (1520B Northmount Drive NW), behind the tennis courts and swimming pool, on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm.
