Norbert Laakmann
Norbert Laakmann of North Vancouver BC passed away early November 24th, at his home just hours after celebrating his 82nd birthday with family.
Bert is survived by his wife, Gloria, of 40 years, daughter Sandra Milne, sons Bert and John and many loving grandchildren.
Bert was successful in business and in life having many friends in both. To say he was well-liked would be an understatement, he was well-loved.
Bert raced cars for many years with his best friend Charlie and loved to watch Formula One. He also enjoyed travelling all his life and going on cruises with Gloria.

Visitation will take place Wednesday Dec 5th In the chapel of Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel from 6pm – 8pm 4276 Hastings St. Burnaby B.C. . Funeral Mass will be take place at St. Helens Parish 3860 Triumph St. Thursday, December 6th at 11:00am. Celebration following at 12:30pm at the Executive Inn, 4201 Lougheed Hwy. Burnaby.
