Obituary of Nelia van Dam
Peacefully went to be with her Lord on December 2, 2018 at Craigwiel Gardens in Ailsa Craig in her 98th year. Beloved wife of 65 years to the late Pieter van Dam. Loving mother of Chris (Ben) Ten Pas, late Bertha (2004) (Henry and Ruby) Askes, Johanna (Gerry) Jurjens, Pete (Joanne) van Dam, Nelia (Frank) Schalk. Cherished grandmother of 22, great-grandmother of 58 and great-great-grandmother of 2. Survived by her sister Martha Olivier and brother Sibren Timmers both of the Netherlands. Predeceased by 3 sisters and 3 brothers and her grandson Jason van Dam (2000). She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received at Providence United Reformed Church, 447 Second St, Strathroy; on December 4, 2018 from 6-8 PM. The Funeral service will be held on December 5, 2018 at 10 AM at the church with Pastor Harry Zekveld officiating.
