Obituary for
Nancy Ruth Smith
February 28, 1947 – October 10, 2018
After a long struggle with cancer, Nancy passed away in the early hours of Wednesday, October 10th. She passed peacefully in her sleep which is a fact that we are grateful for. She has been laid to rest as per her request – quickly, quietly, and in keeping with her strong Judaic faith.
Left to mourn and remember her are her husband, children, grandchildren and a plethora of friends and acquaintances from throughout her life that have reached out to offer remembrances and stories of her warmth and kindness from grade school to retirement. Nancy was truly a memorable woman.
We lost Nancy to a cancer that we had previously never heard of. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in the name of Nancy Ruth Smith to the Multiple Myeloma Fund at Myeloma Canada.
