Obituary for Mildred Crewe
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mildred (Holloway) Crewe wish to announce her passing on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL. She passed peacefully in the presence of her loving children.
Leaving to mourn are her sons: Ralph (Audrey) Gander, NL; Donald, Glovertown, NL; Glen (Dianne) Glovertown, NL; and Ross (Pam) Paradise, NL. Her daughters: Mae Howse (Barry); Joan Spurrell (Brian), Glovertown, NL. Her grandchildren: Michael White (Lee); Jeffrey White; Angela Norman (Geoff); Ashley White (Josh); Julie Duru (Dan); Jonathan Howse; Jennifer Spurrell; and Riley Penney. Her great-grandchildren: Damian, Taya, Aria, Ava, Grace, and Hudson. Leaving to mourn a large number of nephews, nieces, friends, and extended family.
She was predeceased by her parents, Alan and Elizabeth Mae (nee Vaters) Holloway. Her loving husband, Wallace Crewe; grandson, Mitchel Crewe; and brothers, Wilson Holloway and Gerald Holloway. Brothers-in-law and their spouses Harold Crewe (Doris); Eric Crewe (Mary); and her dear sister-in-law Eileen (Crewe) Healey (Roger).
Visitation will be held at Oram’s Funeral Home, Glovertown, NL on Friday, October 19th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 20th at 2:00pm at the Faith United Church, Glovertown.
