Obituary of Michael Winokur
WINOKUR Michael –
Passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 26th at Markham Stouffville Hospital at the age of 71. Beloved husband to Yanping for 19 years. Devoted father to Jason (Lori), Justin (Carmela), and Rachel (Felix). Adoring step father to Mixing and Tina. Cherished grandpa to Brayden and Emma, Preston and Jackson, and Maddox and Ariel. Leaving behind his brother Greg and family. He was the loving son of the late Henry and Nadya Winokur. Michael will be missed for his big heart, charismatic nature and undeniable devotion to his family by his many loved ones and friends. Family and friends will be received at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street North (Markham Rd), Markham, on Saturday January 5th from 12pm until time of Memorial Service in the chapel at 2pm. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
