Michael Martin Tremblett

Michael Tremblett, 60
Passed away on August 17th, 2018 at Dartmouth General Hospital.
Born in Florence, Nova Scotia on the 9th day of July, 1958.
He was the son of the late Wilfred Tremblett and Gertrude Butts.
Michael was a quiet, soft spoken man with a heart of gold.
He enjoyed weekly visits with his daughter, drives to Eastern Passage, reading newspapers at the library and in his younger years he was an avid recreational fisherman and employed with Cheticamp Packers Seafood Processing Ltd for 15 years.
Most of all, he will be remembered for the love he had for his family, precious smile and big heart.
Although he spent most of his life living in Cape Breton, he lived in HRM the last 17 years but will return to the home of his heart and laid to rest.
He is survived by the mother of his child, Geralda Tremblett, Cheticamp and one devoted daughter who meant the world to him, who was the sparkle in his eye, and looked forward to her upcoming marriage, Sherry Tremblett (Adrian Doiron), Upper Brookside.
He was recently blessed and proud to be called Grandpa Mike by his step-grandson Kayden Doiron.
Michael is also survived by his only brother, Peter Tremblett and sisters, Jane Tremblett,
Judy (Chris Tettman),
Susan Tremblett, and Sandra (Tony Ghany), all from Ontario.
He was predeceased by his sister, Sheila (John King), Bras D’or.
Cremation has taken place and a funeral service with Chaplain Ross Lawrence will occur at 1pm on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Twin Cities Villa, 349 Pleasant St, Dartmouth where Michael recently resided.
A burial service will take place at 1pm on Friday, August 24th, 2018 in Brookside Cemetery, Sydney Mines with Rev. Marion Barclay MacKay officiating.
Donations in memory of Michael may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or The Canadian Mental Health Association.
