It is with great sadness that the family of the late Michael Kerfont announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on Saturday, August 11th, 2018 at the age of 82 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his two sons : Clifford (Diane) of Mainland, Sheldon of Mainland, four daughters: Marion (Colin) of Stephenville, Laura of Lourdes, Wanda (Dave) of Kippens, Linda (Jeff) of Kippens, five brothers: Alex (Millie), George (Mary), Alsid (Charlotte), Calvin, Louis, eight sisters: Anita (Gerard), Nancy, Bride, Lillian (Bernard), Mary (Ben), Julia (Charles), Ethel, Elizabeth (Victor), twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Elsia Kerfont, sister Mabel, brothers: William, Dennis, Patrick. Visitation will take place at St. Anne’s Chapel, Mainland on Monday, August 13th, 2018 from 4-9 pm with Rosary at 7pm and Tuesday, August 14th, 2018 from 7-9pm with Wake service at 7pm. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 15th, 2018 at 11:30 am with interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Mainland.
