Duguay, Maurice (1943-2018)
After a brave and courageous battle with his illness, it is with great sadness that we announce his passing in the comfort of his home on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband of 53 years to Jane (nee Neamtu). Loving father of late Nancy Duguay, Barb Katic (Dan) and Maurice Jr. (Sabrina) all of Timmins. Cherished grandfather of Danny, Jenna, Evan, Emelia, Bailey, Mia-Fay. Dear son of Aurore Legendre and late Aimee Duguay. Also left to mourn are his brothers Ron of Espanola and Hector of Cobalt and his loyal pup Buffy. Maurice was a respected businessman and founder of IMS Services. He was a positive leader and mentor to many, he will be sadly missed. The family would like to thank Dr. Clark, Marnie Chisholm and Liz Feldman for their care and compassion during this difficult time. A Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon on Monday, October 8, 2018 from the chapel of Miron-Wilson Funeral Home. Remembrance donations to Lung Association or the Northern Cancer Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. on Monday at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
