Obituary for
Mary Stromecky
On July 3, 2018, Mrs. Mary Stromecky of Lamont, AB, formerly of Bruderheim, AB, passed away at the age 85 years.
Mary is survived by her children, Rose (John) Urban, Lorraine (Dave) Kwashuk, John (Gloria) Stromecky, Darlene (Roger) Desmarais and Irene Stromecky; daughter-in-law, Doreen Stromecky; eleven grandchildren, Tracy, Lisa, Chelsey, Jolene, Andrea, Ashley, Kurtis, Lucas, Danny, Matthew and Brandon; four great-grandchildren, Nicole, Kimmie, Aaron and Brooklyn; two sisters, Emily Dorosz and Stella Broda; and three brothers, Harry, George and Paul Bryndzak. Predeceased by her husband, John; sons, Carl, Henry and Leonard; and parents, Eli and Annie Bryndzak.
Divine Liturgy Monday, July 9 at 10:00 a.m. Exaltation of the Holy Cross Ukrainian Catholic Church, Skaro, AB. Basilian Fathers officiating with interment in Descent of the Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Jaroslaw, AB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lamont Health Care Centre, Box 479, Lamont, AB, T0B 2R0.
