OBITUARY
Lyle George Berry Lund
August 25, 1934 – October 24, 2018
Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, passed away suddenly on October 24th, 2018 at the age of 84 years.
Lyle was born August 25, 1934 in Maryfield Saskatchewan. As a young man, he moved with his family to Brandon, Manitoba where he worked for both 7-up and the Brandon Sun.
Lyle married Laurna in 1957 and had two sons, Greg & Jeff. They moved to Vancouver in 1966, where Lyle worked for Dairyland, as a milkman, and with McKenzie Seeds.
Lyle will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Laurna and sons, Greg (Brenda) and Jeff (Sandra). Pop will also be fondly remembered by his 4 grandchildren, Tyrone, Zack, Sienna (Max) and Parker, great granddaughter, Aubrey, sister, Mavis Mceachen, sister-in-law, Joan Price (Jim) and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Lyle was predeceased by his sister Bonnie Sampson of Winnipeg.
Lyle loved the outdoors, especially Cultus Lake. He enjoyed coaching his son’s teams, traveling and motorcycling in his younger days. Lyle loved his family and will be remembered for his friendliness and willing to have a chat with anyone.
