Linda Ruth Hayman
January 19, 1968 – April 17, 2018
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Linda Ruth Hayman announces her sudden passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL with her family by her side on Tuesday, April 17th, 2018 at the age of 50 years. Linda was a devoted mom, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She most enjoyed spending her time with her friends and family. Her favourite hobbies were playing Bingo and cards, especially with her young nieces and nephews. Linda was a wonderful presence in the lives of her loved ones and she will be greatly missed. She was a loyal friend who was always willing to lend a hand, a listening ear, or a shoulder to cry on. Linda will always be remembered for her warm smile, kind heart, and cheerful laugh.
Linda was the daughter of the late Eldon George Hayman. She was also predeceased by her baby brother George; grandparents Walter and Alvina (nee Walters) Hayman, Albert and Clara (nee Billard) Munden; uncles Hughie Hayman, Wilfred Hayman and Lewis Munden. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her loving mother Margaret (Margo) Hayman (nee Munden); son Nicolas Hayman of Port aux Basques, NL; sisters Kimberly (Conrad) Petrikowski of Dartmouth, NS, Arlene (Dan) DeGaust of Hubbards, NS, Kayla Hayman of Port aux Basques, NL; brother Vaughn (Annette) Hayman of St. John’s, NL; nephews and nieces Kyle, Kristen, Elyse, Liam, Jack, Charlotte; aunts and uncles Walter (Minnie) Hayman of New Minas, NS, Rex Hayman, Elsie (Fred) Keeping, Sandra (Gus) King all of Port aux Basques, NL, Georgina Hayman of Isle aux Morts, NL, Mabel Ferguson of Athens, Ont, Bert (Eleanor) Munden, Audrey (Len) Crewe both of Dartmouth, NS, Linda (Allan) Cave of Wainwright, AB along with cousins as well as a large circle of friends.
In keeping with Linda`s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 19th from 7-9pm and on Friday, April 20th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home Inc. A celebration of Linda`s life will be held on Friday evening from East Haven Funeral Home Inc in Port aux Basques, NL officiated by Rev. Marlene Harvey with interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family.
