Leo Francis Fennessey
1937-2017
The death occurred suddenly at his home in Tignish, Saturday,
December 30, 2017, of Leo Francis Fennessey, of Tignish, age 80.
Beloved husband of Wanda (nee Barnett) Fennessey. Born November 7,
1937, he was the son of the late James and Lauretta (nee Perry)
Fennessey.
Dear father to: Carolyn Gaudet of Tignish, Francis of
Tignish, and Lonny (Cindy), of St. Louis. He will be sadly missed by
his grandchildren, Jeremy Gaudet, Jake Gaudet, Jyllisa Gaudet, Carson
Fennessey, Emily Fennessey and Michael Fennessey, and
great-grandchildren, Taylor, Tye, Brynlee, L J and Wes. He is also
survived by siblings, Billy(Late Joan) of Sea Cow Pond, Rose Marie
(Late Stephen) Brennan of Sea Cow Pond, Percy (Joan) of
Tignish, Auldina ( Late Jerry) Hoppcraft of Burlington, Ontario, and
Barry (Joyce) of Tignish. Also surviving is his mother-in-law, Lucy
Barnett of Tignish, fomerly of Alberton and a sister in law Joanne
Fennessey of Alberton,
He was predeceased by a brother, Arthur and by a son-in-law,
Lorry Gaudet.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours
Tuesday, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Wednesday morning from St. Simon
and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., with
Rev. Brendan Gallant, Celebrant.
Interment later in the church cemetery.
