Joshua lived 26 memorable years of his life. Joshua attended kindergarten and gr 1 at the Napi’s Playground Elementary School then attended Canyon Elementary School from grade 2-6 and then attended St Michaels for gr 7 then moved to Mathew Halton for 8-9, then attended Piikani Nation Secondary School for his senior year. Joshua played many sports growing up, he played Lacrosse, Hockey, Running, Working out & Weight Lifting and his all time favorite sport Foot Ball. He enjoyed playing football with his brother Daniel One Owl and his childhood best friend Logan Orser on the Pincher Creek Sr Mustangs team. Joshua was a very strong runner. Joshua competed in many runs throughout his life, he joined the cross country team for St Michael’s School and encouraged his sister Reba to join with him. Together they competed in many runs with St Michaels School. Joshua ran The Pilgrimage Run from Chief Mountain Montana to Lac St Ann Alberta he ran that race with his brother Daniel Oneowl and brother in law Shay Prairie Chicken and many others, along with his coach Ken Williams. At the age of 16, Joshua received his learners with no help from anyone he was very determined to achieve one of his goals by getting his learners. Then after that he saved up money and bought his very first car on his own by the age of 17. Joshua enjoyed going to Camp Gladstone throughout his teenager life with his siblings.
Joshua was very humorous, joyful, outgoing, caring, artistic and passionate about the Lord, and knew Jesus was his savior. Joshua’s many hobbies he enjoyed was cooking and baking cookies with his grandma Bensler, making bike jumps and ramps.
He was also blessed with an artistic talent. He was very creative in his own ways. Joshua enjoyed picking sweet grass, mint, saskatoons and sage with his dad. Joshua loved each and everyone of his family members and friends and always acknowledged them with a smile, hug & a warm sense of humor.
