Forever In Our Hearts
Manford was born on December 30, 1950 and passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018. We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather.
He was predeceased by his father Freeman Howsam and mother Millicent; and step-father Joe Rolfe.
Manford is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Marilyn; children Lori Howsam (Todd Johnson), Linda Janke (Darren Norman) and Johnathan; grandchildren Keaira and Dylan Johnson and Whitney and Brady Janke.
He was the third generation to farm the family farm and began a trucking business (on the side) in 1978. Over the many years he had 13 trucks in which he hauled cattle, bales and grain.
Manford was the first farmer to add a grain vac into a semi-truck.
He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and loyal to his many customers and friends.
Manford was always ready to help whenever called upon.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Lang Community Hall, 306 Main Street, Lang, SK on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 1:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Manford may be made to a charity of your choice.
