John Joseph Guislain
1929-2018
The death of John Joseph Guislain of Minto, NB occurred Sunday, May
27, 2018 at Hospice House Fredericton.
Born in Newcastle Bridge, NB he was the son of the late John and
Marguerite (Maillet) Guislain.
Survived by his loving wife, Helen (Crawford) Guislain; sons, Kevin,
John, Raymond and Gary; a brother, Raymond (Louina); several
grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parent, John was predeceased by his first wife,
Mary Gladys Guislain in 1993; a son, Brian; brothers Rene and
Alyre.
Resting at Hogg Funeral Services 10 King Street, Minto with visiting
on Tuesday from 3-6pm. Funeral Service will be held 11:00AM Wednesday,
May 30, 2018 from Minto Community Chapel. Interment will take place in
Saint Bridget’s Cemetery. For those who wish, donations made to
the Minto Boys & Girls Club or the Canadian Cancer Society would
be appreciated by the family.
Thank you to Dr’s, nurses and staff of Hospice House and North
Minto Residence for the wonderful care given to John. Also a huge
thanks to Dr. S. Morrissy your kindness will never be forgotten.
