Obituary of John « Jack » Benedict
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jack on May 28, 2018 in his 81st year. He is survived by his devoted wife Mary Rae of 57 years. Loving father of Jeff (Sandi), Lynn (Chris) Belore & Craig (Leslie Wyatt). Proud grandfather of Jessica (the late Dave) Benjamin, Kaitlyn and Hailey Benedict, Lindsey and Connor Belore, and proud great grandfather to Briah and Aria Benjamin. Dear brother of Kathy Arnem and the late Jim. Jack had a passion for playing and coaching sports. Celebration of His Life will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018 at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home ( 6150 Yonge St. , at Goulding, south of Steeles) from 6-9 p.m. with memories being shared at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
