Peacefully on August 5, 2018 at Hillsdale Terraces, Oshawa in her 86th year. Loving and dedicated wife and mother. Predeceased by her loving husband Matthew (Nick) in 2002. Cherished mother of Christine and Matthew John and his wife Kimberley. Beloved grandmother to Christine`s children Taylor Gerrad and Ajené Dorothy Irene. Predeceased by her parents George and Dorothy Parrott. Survived by her brother William and his wife May.
Predeceased by sisters Betty Clark, late husband Gordon and Eileen Smith, late husband Alan. Also, predeceased by brother-in-law and sister-in-law Eugene and Jean Wales. Joan will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews and dear friends. Special thanks to Hillsdale Terraces staff for their care and support for Joan. If desired, memorial donations to Alzheimer`s Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
