Jessie Lillian (nee MacArthur) Graham
1939-2018
The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on
Saturday, August 4, 2018, with her loving family by her side, of
Jessie Lillian (nee MacArthur) Graham of Alberton, age 79
years. Born at Mt. Pleasant, P.E.I. on March 18, 1939, she
was the daughter of the late Angus and Alice (nee Luke)
MacArthur.
Loving mother to Darrell (Vickie) Graham of Alberton and
Darren (Deanna) Graham of Fredericton, N.B. Cherished
grandmother to Emma and Matthew Graham of Fredericton. Dear sister to
Jean Arsenault of Richmond, Sylvia (Keith) Barrett of Summerside and
Goldie MacArthur of Kinkora. She is also survived by her many
nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintances.
She was predeceased by a sister, Margaret (late Donald)
Harris, and by a brother, Willard MacArthur.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton.
Visiting hours Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Tuesday morning
from the Sacred Heart Church, Alberton, for funeral mass at 10:30
a.m., Rev. Andrew MacDonald, Celebrant. Private family
interment in the Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery,
Wellington.
As an expression of sympathy, memorials to the Palliative
Care Unit of the Western Hospital or to the Heart and Stroke
Foundation would be gratefully appreciated.
Members from St. Anthony’s Branch of the Royal
Canadian Legion, Bloomfield will hold a tribute service at the funeral
home Monday evening at 6:45 p.m.
