Forever In Our Hearts
Mike passed away peacefully at the age of 87 on Monday, April 16, 2018.
He is survived by his loving wife Winnifred (Jeannie ) of 57 years, son Michael (Calgary), daughter Cindy (Brad) Hodgkinson, grandson Daryle Hodgkinson (Regina), brother Neville Robinson, sisters Annabelle Pizzie and Elizabeth Gunter all of England; as well as many family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Reginald James and Dorothy May Robinson of England.
He emigrated from England to Winnipeg, MB in 1957 and joined Number 10 Architectural Group. He moved his family to Regina in 1978 to join BLM Architects. He was a Registered Specifications Writer (RSW) belonging to the Construction Specifications Canada (CSC) and inducted into the CSC College of Fellows in 1995 titled (FCSC).
In 1992 he retired and soon after started his 2nd career with Corps of Commissionaires, where he worked until September 2017, at the RCMP F Division. He always took great pride in every endeavour he chose in his life.
Those who knew him well, respected him for being a Stickler of the English Language. “Say what you mean, mean what you say.” He truly lived his life like his favourite poem entitled “DESIDERATA”.
At Mike’s request, no service will be held.
