Thompson, Hilda May
Passed away peacefully on December 4, 2018 in her 65th year at Providence Care Hospital surrounded by loving family. Hilda will be sadly missed by husband Gavin Hutchison, brother Wayne (Sue), nieces/nephew Erin (Russel) Jones, Sarah and Adam (Shandel Dyck), aunt Marjorie, stepdaughters/son Sarah (Leon Miklos) Hutchison, Diana (Scott) Steadman and David (Tristan Smith) Hutchison and great-nephews Oliver, Grayson, and Haze. She was predeceased by her parents Blake and Adel and loving aunts and uncles. Her kindness and compassion will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. Special thanks for the outstanding care provided by the members of her surgery, cancer clinic, palliative care clinic and Providence Care Hospital teams. Family and friends will be received at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Blvd. on Wednesday, December 12 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The inurnment will take place Thursday, December 13 at 10:00 a.m. in Sandhill Cemetery, followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel of James Reid Funeral Home at 11:30 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Canadian Cancer Society, Inverary United Church or Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides would be appreciated by the family.
