Obituary
With very little warning, Helen left us on December 12th, 2018 at Royal Columbian hospital, following siblings Emil (1946), Nick and Martha earlier this year. She is survived by sisters Carol Eyton, Mary Davidson and Rose Lawrie, as well as many nieces, nephews and their offspring, as she was « everyone’s favourite aunt »in the clan. Her wide circle of friends will ever remember her.
Helen spent her working years at Telus, but also enjoyed a life enriched by an avid interest in hockey, golf, fitness, church choir and travel. However, she shone best when doing something for someone else, always with her signature enthusiasm and energy.
There will be a prayer service on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 7 p.m., followed by a Memorial Mass on January 12th, 2019 at 12 noon, both at St. Peters Roman Catholic Church at 330 Royal Avenue in New Westminster. In lieu of flowers, you may choose to make a donation to Covenant House in Vancouver. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.kearneyfs.com
