Harriett Mae Macumber
1933-2018
Harriett Mae Macumber – 84, of
Centreville, Kings County, passed away Monday, February 19, 2018 in
the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Shubenacadie, she was
a daughter of the late Leroy and Harriett (White) McCulloch. She
enjoyed playing cards, doing puzzle books and watching wrestling. She
is survived by six daughters, Karen Harvey, Ontario; Barbara Dean,
Halifax; Grace Stewart, Centreville; Joan Burke, British Columbia;
Ella McInnis, Windsor and Edith Millet, Truro; three sons, James
McInnis and Roland Macumber, both of Alberta; Stephen Macumber,
Windsor; a sister, Elizabeth McCulloch, Falmouth; 18 grandchildren; 14
great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her
husband, George Macumber; two sisters, Marion and Shirley; two
grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation,
by request. The funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held
at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 26, 2018 in the White Family Funeral
Home, Kentville, Pastor Stephen Wheaton officiating. Burial will take
place at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to the charity
of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White
Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services,
Kentville.
