Forever Loved
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Hamid Reza Ghofrani at the age of 60 years young. Known in the industry as “Hammer”, he was a brilliant mechanic, an avid sports fan, a “unique” and unconventional cook and a dedicated father, grandfather and husband. He was a proud man. He was a good man. He was loved by many and will be missed by even more. Hamid is survived by his wife Mehrnaz (Nazi), son Surroosh, daughter Shody (Chris), and grandson Jakob.
The family would like to invite family and friends to pay their respects or share their condolences to a casual gathering on Friday, October 5th, 2018. It will be held at Hamid and Nazi’s home at 85 Courtenay Terrace in Sherwood Park from 4:00 to 6:00PM. The family would also ask that memorial tributes be made to The Stollery Children’s Hospital in lieu of flowers.
